Deforestation history

"Adán y Eva" is a 2,187.8-hectare property located in the southwest of the department of Santa Cruz, 70 kilometers from the capital city.

Land clearing carried out before the enactment of Forestry Law 1700 (July 12, 1996). Land reclamation began in Bolivia this year.

<1996

Until 2011, the lands of "Adan y Eva" were state-owned. The INRA classifies this property as "business and agricultural" and hands it over to the previous owners through "endowment and allocation."

1997 to 2011

2012to2015

On July 28, 2015, the INRA delivered the Executive Title of "Adán y Eva" to its first owners.

2016to 2021

On November 11, 2021, the property was sold to Rafael Ernesto Arce Mosqueira.

The culling of the primary forest on this property, located in the midst of the transition from the mountain, Chaco, and Andean forests, is accelerating.
