A. Min (Mean)
Formula:
[ \text{Min} = \frac{\sum x}{n} ] Di mana $\sum x$ ialah jumlah semua nilai data, dan $n$ ialah bilangan data.
Contoh:
Jika jualan 5 hari berturut-turut ialah: 200, 220, 250, 180, 210.
[ \text{Min} = \frac{200 + 220 + 250 + 180 + 210}{5} = \frac{1060}{5} = 212 ]
Maksud: Purata jualan harian ialah RM212.
B. Median
Cara Mengira:
Susun data daripada yang terkecil ke terbesar.
Jika bilangan data ganjil, median ialah nilai tengah.
Jika bilangan data genap, median ialah purata dua nilai tengah.
Contoh:
Data: 180, 200, 210, 220, 250
Bilangan data ganjil (5), jadi median = nilai ke-3 = 210.
Jika data: 180, 200, 210, 220
Bilangan data genap (4), jadi median = purata nilai ke-2 & ke-3:
[ \text{Median} = \frac{200 + 210}{2} = 205 ]
C. Mod
Definisi:
Nilai yang paling kerap muncul dalam set data.
Contoh:
Data: 200, 210, 210, 220, 250
Mod = 210 (kerana ia muncul dua kali, paling banyak).
2. Ukuran Penyebaran
A. Julat (Range)
Formula:
[ \text{Julat} = \text{Nilai Maksimum} - \text{Nilai Minimum} ]
Contoh:
Data: 180, 200, 210, 220, 250
Julat = 250 - 180 = 70
B. Varians
Formula:
[ \text{Varians} = \frac{\sum (x - \bar{x})^2}{n} ] Di mana $x$ ialah setiap nilai data, $\bar{x}$ ialah min, dan $n$ ialah bilangan data.
Contoh:
Data: 200, 220, 250, 180, 210
Min = 212
Kira $(x - \bar{x})^2$ untuk setiap data:
(200-212)² = 144
(220-212)² = 64
(250-212)² = 1,444
(180-212)² = 1,024
(210-212)² = 4
Jumlah = 144 + 64 + 1,444 + 1,024 + 4 = 2,680
Varians = 2,680 / 5 = 536
C. Sisihan Piawai (Standard Deviation)
Formula:
[ \text{Sisihan Piawai} = \sqrt{\text{Varians}} ]
Contoh:
Sisihan Piawai = $\sqrt{536} \approx 23.15$
