This video promotes San Diego Comic-Con 2024. There were more than 135,000 attendees, and the event had a $160 million economic impact. My name is Bill Coulombe. I'm the president of Y Comics and the writer of Kinetic. I'm a big fan of the old school Marvel stuff. A lot of the Silver Age stuff too. I read a lot, read a lot of comics because Stephen King says, you know, to be a good writer you need to read. Hi my name is Justin Vargas, Justin Luis Vargas, and I am a freelance artist.
I focus a lot on portraiture and pop culture portraiture. I was probably around 11. I seem to remember I was like the sixth grade or something.
I was copying, you know, images out of comic books like, you know, Wolverine. It'd be cool to be, you know, maybe doing like some concept art on like, you know, like those Marvel movies. My name is Chris Catlin. I'm from Seattle. I've been doing this for about three years now. I travel around and do cons on the weekend. It's awesome. Alien and Predator. My dad always said that I would never be paid to draw them, and now I'm being paid to draw them.
