Intern Room

Where graduates turn into leaders

This room will be a dedicated living space for an intern who has graduated from our Renew recovery program and has transitioned into a leadership role within the house. Interns help run our programs and services, acting as case managers for Renew clients, providing support to all departments, and teaching classes. Internships are a chance for graduates to gain on-the-job training and learn crucial job skills as they puruse a job beyond CityTeam. Many interns pursue employment in social work and addiction recovery. Interns have the opportunity to complete 3 internship cycles, each lasting 6 months.

CityTeam 'Renew' Room

A comfortable space where lives are rebuilt

Each Renew room will be a dedicated living space for men that first enter our Renew recovery program. Often times, this is the first bed men will sleep in outside of jail or prison. This room will represent a second chance at life. 4-6 men will be in this room, living among the CityTeam brotherhood and building support system. These men will be actively participating in our robust recovery program - attending 12-step and discipleship classes, receiving 1-on-1 case management, and workforce development training through our CityTeam @ Work services. We will extend our hours of operation in this new space, which will allow guests to have a more leisurely stay without rushing to pack up their belongings. Guests will have the opportunity for individual case management to address the root causes of their crisis situations.
