They will be required to continue their training throughout their professional lives through continuing education. They may also pursue degree programmes leading to a master's degree.
The ‘BTS Insurance’ two-year course specialised in insurance allows students to train in two main areas: • Business development and contract management; • Claims and benefits management. The ‘BTS Insurance’ course requires methodical, regular and in-depth work. Students must be able to develop the following intellectual qualities: writing skills, rigorous reasoning, open-mindedness, autonomy and perseverance in their personal work. In addition, in preparing students for professional life, we emphasise their ability to present themselves clearly and neatly, to use appropriate language, to communicate easily (courtesy and team spirit in classroom relations) and to work in a group.
The evolution of careers in insurance is marked by: • greater versatility; • a shift towards customer relations; • increasing use of information and communication technologies. The ATC's Insurance programme takes these developments into account and offers students a wide range of career opportunities. Insurance technician jobs • Insurance advisor; • Contract or claims manager; • Agency or broker employee.

During the two years of training, students are required to complete 16 weeks of work experience in a professional environment during school time.
