About me
Eleonora Castaldi
After graduating from the High school of Arts Alberti-Dante, I decided to continue with my work ... But suddenly Covid made its reappearance, which led me to take a sabbatical year and reflect on myself . In that year, I taught myself and learned everything I needed to be able to write a screenplay. It didn't take long for me to create my own project The Watcher's Bride, and focus on my film career. Now I’m studying in the Academy of fine arts in Florence.

Art Open call for "Museum of Love"
Fandomanzia
Photographic reportage that presents altars dedicated to fictional or controversial figures, treating them as new deities of a contemporary cult. Each installation includes fanart, merchandise, ex votos, and relics, reimagining devotional practices through fan culture. The project explores how the internet transforms these relationships into something eternal and omnipresent, where algorithms act like modern priests, perpetuating digital worship through constant exposure and interaction. Social media becomes a sacred space, and the fan community performs collective rituals of love, pain, and obsession.

Fallen Angels
“Fallen Angels” is a film created within the laboratory “Actors for Active Citizenship” of the Alberti-Dante Institute in Florence. The plot was born from an idea by Eleonora Castaldi and from the reworking by Professor Rodolfo Vezzosi, influenced by references to some songs by Franco Battiato. The draft screenplay is enriched by ideas and performances by all the students, supported by external experts: Filippo Belperio, Valentina Grigò and Francesca Stampone.
Obsessive - VideoArt
Video performance created for the workshop Dante's Inferno during my stay at Academy of Fine arts of Florence. Using Dante's showcasing of Hell, I used my own experiences and traumas regarding my OCD disorder, I recreated the feelings and symptoms of it through a dance choreography, wearing a red veil as a reference to Dante himself. Senara
Inspired by the Irish saint Senara, the archangel of love Camael, and fantasy characters, we created the Goddess Senara, the central figure of a new religion. Originating from another universe, she dies and becomes a servant of her gods, eventually discovering her divine powers. This sparks a war between gods and leads to the creation of planet Earth. Her religion centers on constant transformation and the mental well-being of her followers.Duration: 1:00 "

We drew inspiration from the Vaporwave aesthetic, a movement born online in the early 2010s that blends nostalgia for the '80s and '90s with dreamlike and surreal atmospheres. To evoke this imagery, we composed three triangles of different sizes: the first two form a pyramid, while two right-angled triangles create a rhomboid shape that represents the sun. This geometry recalls the symbolic landscapes typical of Vaporwave, with valleys, mountains, and a central setting sun. We used a fitting color palette with shades of orange, fuchsia, purple, white, and blue.

Art Exhibition done in Empoli by the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and professor Federico Bucalossi. Me along with other artists had the chance to expose our work. Mine was a video performance that simulates an unboxing to reveal a disturbing dialogue between the artist and their inner child, embodied in a doll. The light-hearted format clashes with an intimate and painful narrative, exposing how we often become the ones who perpetuate the wounds we once received. The work explores trauma, dissociation, and self-sabotage, showing how—even after the violence has ended—we continue to carry its effects. A raw but necessary confrontation with one's own childhood.

SYNOPSIS
The series 'The Watcher's Bride' follows Maria, a young woman grappling with severe insecurities and anxiety stemming from her body image. Giulio, smitten by her, attempts to connect but is hindered by the dark past of his father, Tiziano, a fallen angel known as Samyaza. Giulio, tormented by his history, is desperate to shield Maria from a fate similar to his mother's. As secrets unravel, Maria's loyal friend, Bethany, strives to save her from Tiziano's malevolent intentions.
She is anxious and tries to avoid looking at him. Maria's anxieties heighten during the train ride, culminating in a moment of relief when the man exits the train at the station.
Later, at home, Maria engages in a phone conversation with her friend Bethany. They discuss mundane aspects of their day, with Maria seeming reserved and anxious.
When night falls, Maria's anxiety escalates, leading to a terrifying nightmare where she becomes a dark figure waiting to harm someone. The dream leaves her in a state of distress.
We shifts to a classroom setting, where Maria is alone, sketching when she interacts with a familiar student, Matilde. They engage in light banter until the topic turns to an upcoming oral exam, causing Maria more distress due to her fear of public speaking.
Upon exiting the school after an earthquake Maria meets Giulio,a boy seemingly distressed by his father.
Later, a friend of Maria, reaches out to her in the middle of the night, crying desperately. The episode ends with Martin in a state of extreme distress, contorting and convulsing in a frightening manner, leaving Maria in shock and helplessness.
PILOT EPISODE 1 X 01
We follow Maria, a young woman returning home from school . While on the train, she is preoccupied with her phone, attempting to distract herself from the uncomfortable glances she receives from a seemingly mocking man.
