The story of KB1 Towing
In Texas, just off the highway, was a modest brick building with bold black lettering: KB1 TOWING. It wasn’t just a business — it was the heart of a family legacy. Started by Omar Reyes back in the early 2000's with nothing more than a rusty tow truck and a promise to himself, KB1 began as a one-man operation. He wasn’t just towing cars — he was helping property owners take back control, clearing abandoned vehicles from apartment lots, with honesty and care. He’d say, “We don’t just tow — we help keep order.”
Now, the second generation is learning the ropes his daugthers Zoe and Valeria — riding along on calls, learning how to talk to people, how to check permits, and most of all, how to carry on the name with pride. KB1 Towing isn’t the biggest company in town, but what they’ve built is stronger than steel — a family name, a reputation, and a business grounded in trust.
Years later, his wife Ruth, brought fresh ideas but holding tightly to her husbands values: respect, reliability, and relationships. They added newer trucks, uniformed drivers, and even a digital lot management system — but never lost the personal touch.
