IMPACT STORIES
collaboration at pathways: celebrating strides toward self-sufficiency
A client in our Workforce Development Program secured full-time employment in April. In June, he was able to obtain a bicycle to help withtransportation to and from work. We’re thankful for our partnership with Alston Wilkes Society.
One of our Walk-in's last month was able to get peer support and achieve a place to live.

One gentleman through referrals was able to obtain employment even though it was out of the bus route range. I purchased a bike, and he strapped the bike to the bus and went as far as the route would take him and rode his bike the rest of the way to woke.
A big thank you to Brooke and the team at Bethel Day Shelter for going the extra mile to ensure guests are fully prepared for their DMV appointments. From gathering documents to offering guidance, your support is a vital part of helping individuals move forward on their path to stability and independence.

Because of the partnership with HDC, we have a client moving into the very affordable duplexes on Main St! She works 40 hours weekly at the local gas station and has been looking for an opportunity for housing that she could afford. This price point is exactly what we need in Rock Hill for those working minimum wage jobs in order for them to be housed. I am so excited for her!
Keystone has a client coming to Thursday Life Skills group who did not qualify for the Haven, and felt down on his luck. After participating in group for a few weeks participating in lessons like Forgiveness and Moving Forward, the client has been able to muster up the motivation to apply for and obtain a new job!
