Where We Are
We’re excited to introduce you to Gymnasio–Lykeio of Argyrades – a secondary school located on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece.
We are happy to share a glimpse of our school with you.
A Look from Above
Let’s take a look at our school from above. As you can see in this drone footage, the school is spacious and welcoming. We have a large schoolyard, garden areas, and open spaces where students play, interact, and participate in outdoor activities. These open-air areas help promote physical well-being and social connection.
Our school is nestled in Argyrades, a traditional and picturesque village in the southern part of Corfu. Surrounded by olive groves and hills, it offers a calm and inspiring environment that supports focus, creativity, and personal growth.
Inside Our Classrooms
Inside our classrooms, learning is enriched with technology. We use interactive whiteboards to make lessons more engaging and collaborative.
ICT LAB
Our ICT lab is fully equipped with desktop computers and high-speed internet. Students learn programming, digital literacy, and safe online practices. We also use the lab for interdisciplinary projects and creative activities.
Science LAB
In our science lab, students explore Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through experiments and hands-on activities. We promote inquiry-based learning, helping students understand the natural world through observation, testing, and discovery.

We integrate various digital tools into our daily teaching. Students and teachers use platforms such as eClass for online learning and communication, Padlet for collaboration and creativity, and GeoGebra for interactive math and science exploration. These tools support blended learning and enhance student engagement.
Our School Community
Throughout the school year, we organize various cultural, environmental, and educational events. Our students take part in celebrations, performances, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns. These activities help them develop creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of community
