During this season, the side charachters were actually much more interesting than the main charachters. However, they tended to take away from the main plot,

The main charachters were not done justice in season 2. In season 1, they were fresh, funny, and imaginative, but they did not hit the same in the second season.
Setting
One of the few things done well in season 2 was the setting. Set in Los Angelos, the setting was warm and sunny. The houses were gorgeous and made you feel as if you were right there with the charachters.
Plot
The plot felt recycled from the previous season. The charachters faced the same dilemmas regarding faith and commitment. There was nothing particularly new or intriguing about this plot, making it quite boring after a while.
