This tool runs your regular pay cycle, for the same employees, without you having to create timesheets for each pay. It automatically generates timesheets based on the 'standard row' default entries, which you can update if needed.

Payment initiated by:

You. You transfer funds into the Thankyou Payroll Trust account. These funds are assigned to your client account, which triggers the pay automation cycle.

Direct Debit Funding

2-day Processing

Urgent Same-Day Pays

In cases where you have to pay your employees TODAY, our customer team offers an additional, on-request service. Simply create the pay with required timesheets on the dashboard and contact our team to set this up for you.

You. Manually transfer the funds into the Thankyou Payroll Trust account when so prompted by our service team. Time is of the essence. The sooner your funds are received in our Trust account, the sooner your employees can be paid.

  • Requests for this service is available until 2:45 pm during regular business hours.
  • A strict cut-off time of 2:45 pm applies on the day for your funds to be received into our Trust account.

Thankyou Payroll charges an additional $15 fee each time you use this service.

Drawbacks to Using Pay Automation

  • You can only have one pay automation cycle active at any time.
  • The process is triggered by funds assigned to your client account, implying that it can be triggered by unexpected funds such as IRD refunds entering your client account.
  • Risk that the automation may not be triggered if your funding is delayed by a public holiday or other disruption.
  • If there is an open pay on your dashboard between the deposit trigger and pay day, this will override automation and not generate the pay or timesheets.

Benefit of Using Urgent Same-Day Pays

  • Speed. Your employees will see their pay on that same day.

Benefit of Using Pay Automation

  • Convenient. Saves you time by automating standard pay cycles.

  • Availability. Depending on who your business banks with, this might not be available to you due to processing delays.
