Adding a New Engineer in Gold

Follow the steps below to set up a new engineer in Gold.

1. In Gold, under System Management, select Wholegoods / Workshop > Engineer Rates. 2. Input a new engineer number and select Insert. 3. Enter all required information for the engineer. 4. Return to the main menu and under System Management, select Set-Up and Security > Personnel Security File. 5. Select Insert and enter a password.

Follow the steps below to set up a new engineer in Gold.

6. Fill in the details of the new engineer in the Details and Email tab. 7. In the Security tab, if the engineer doesn’t need to access Gold and only CLAAS DSM, we recommend changing their Access Codes. Enter 99 in the first field and leaving the remaining empty. 8. Set the Application User? field to Yes.

Follow the steps below to set up a new engineer in Gold.

9. A new window will open allowing you to set a new password. Select OK when complete. 10. Navigate to the Applications tab, select DSMAPP under Aplication and select Amend from the bottom left corner. 11. Set the status to Active and enter the Company and new engineer number you created. Select OK to save your changes.

12. If the engineer requires visibility of the CLAAS DSM Validations issues in Gold Portal, select Roles from the bottom left corner. 13. Select CLAAS DSM Admin and select Toggle to change No to Yes. 14. Close the Window to save the changes.
