OVERVIEW

  1. Create Avid Master Account
  2. Remove Previous Versions of Pro Tools
  3. Install Hardware Drivers & Pro Tools STUDIO Software
  4. Redeem & Authorise Pro Tools STUDIO (including Proof Of Student Status)
  5. Reboot Device
  6. Configure Your Device for Improved Performance

1. Avid Master Account

  • https://my.avid.com/account/ [see QR code]
  • Create an account using your primary email that you can use into the future for subscription renewals (although there's no savings for renewal subscriptions so...)
  • Make sure you SAVE your password and login details somewhere as this can be really annoying if you can't login; your subscription & Pro Tools access will be tied to this.
  • PUT YOUR FIST IN THE AIR WHEN DONE

2. Delete other versions of Pro Tools

  • Uninstall & delete any other version of Pro Tools on your device.
  • PUT YOUR FIST IN THE AIR WHEN DONE

3. Download Pro Tools STUDIO & HD Driver

  • Sign in to your Avid Master Account
  • Click"Account" > "My Products"
  • Under the heading "My Products" click "Avid Download Center"
  • Find & Click "AVID Pro Tools"
  • Under "Current Releases" find & click "AVID Pro Tools Intro, Artist, Studio and Ultimate 2025.12.1"
  • Click on the HD Driver & Pro Tools 2025.12.1 for EITHER Mac or Windows.
  • PUT YOUR FIST IN THE AIR WHEN DONE

4. Activate Pro Tools STUDIO

  • In AVID Master Account, under "My Products" click "Register Software with Code"
  • PUT YOUR FIST IN THE AIR WHEN DONE
