Buridan's Donkey
Imagine a donkey standing precisely between identical piles of hay, each equidistant and equally appealing. All other variables are equal. Guided solely by logic, the creature finds itself trapped in a dilemma — for no rational preference exists between them. Time stretches, hunger gnaws, yet indecision paralyzes its will. Will the donkey die of hunger ?
