Gathering Ideas: Damage to the Environment
Think of your chosen environment. What negative thing could be causing damage to it? Let's watch a video clip about damage to the environment. How do you think this damage could be prevented or solved? Let's add some of our ideas to the flipchart.
Drama Opportunity: Freeze Frame
Look again at the illustrations. In groups of five: use roleplay to create a scene of one of the environments. When I say 'Freeze' hold the moment still - creating a freeze frame of that environment.
Drama Opportunity: Freeze Frames
Guide Questions: What can be seen, heard or felt in this environment? How are you feeling about this place? What do you notice about your surroundings? What is changing? What is having a negative impact on your environment? Why do you think this is happening? How do you feel about these changes? What can be done to prevent this happening? How can we heal the damage?
