WHAT SHOULD BE KNOWN ABOUT US Established in 1919, Liceul Teoretic ‘’Radu Vlădescu’’ provides education to more than 850 pupils and students from the Buzău Valley area. We are an Erasmus Accredited organisation 2023-2027 and an eTwinning school 2025-2026. Thanks to EU funding through the Erasmus+ Programme enriching lives and opening minds since 1987 we have been able achieve the two main objectives for the school year 2024-2025: - the modernization and internationalization of the teaching-learning- assessment process through key-competence development and exchange of good practices, to the detriment of outdated approaches; - the digitalization of the teaching-evaluation process through participation in Erasmus+ training activities for teaching staff for the benefit of the entire school community.

THE MAIN LEARNING ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE ERASMUS PROJECT 2024-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000206543 included:

  • the use of original OERs in the teaching-learning-assessment process;
  • multimedia presentations created by students from Romania, Greece and Germany;
  • active participation in the (non)formal learning activities provided by the host schools;
  • the school play The Great Debaters 2025, performed in Germany by two Romanian students;
  • the roundtable discussions “Which is better in education: tradition or innovation?”;
  • research and documentation visits aimed at valuing the exchange of experience and good
practices, and the benefits of experiential learning;
  • initial, formative, and final assessment activities.
