A search engine aggregating official press releases from all UN Member States. The platform tracks trending themes and positions in international affairs, allowing users to search by topic, country, or timeframe and generate summary reports. Freely available to diplomats, researchers, and the public, Diplomatic Pulse makes international diplomatic discourse transparent and accessible.

E-ANALYTICS & INNOVATION COURSE
An annual training programme equipping UN Peace and Security staff with data analytics, artificial intelligence, and design thinking skills for conflict prevention and preventive diplomacy. Developed in partnership with academic institutions including the Qatar Computing Research Institute, the curriculum evolves annually to reflect emerging trends such as large language models and agentic AI. Participants develop innovative projects and join a growing network of innovation practitioners across the Peace and Security Pillar.

Applying foresight methodologies to anticipate conflict trajectories and inform preventive action. The Innovation Cell conducts foresight exercises for Special Political Missions, Resident Coordinators, and Headquarters, using computer-assisted methods to identify emerging conflict drivers and strategic opportunities. The team also designs participatory foresight processes, including youth-led regional dialogues, to surface diverse perspectives on peace and security futures.

Building responsible AI capabilities across DPPA while exploring emerging applications for peace and security work. The Innovation Cell trains Political Affairs Officers to use generative AI tools for conflict analysis, briefing preparation, and information synthesis, aligned with the UN guidance on ethical AI use. The team also pilots new applications and tracks emerging trends to identify opportunities for responsible AI deployment in mediation and prevention.

An AI-powered platform enabling senior UN officials to conduct real-time consultations with up to 1,000 participants in their native languages and dialects. Deployed globally across the UN’s Special Political Missions, resident coordinator offices, and in partnership with regional organisations, the platform identifies areas of consensus on sensitive issues including ceasefires, humanitarian measures, and peace priorities. Anonymity features allow candid engagement, particularly supporting women's participation in conflict-affected settings.
