The Countdown or Count Up - a Shavuot Game
Shavuot, 7 weeks after Pesach, is the joyful holiday when we remember how the Jewish people got the Torah on Mount Sinai! The mountain shook, the sky rumbled, and everyone listened carefully. We decorate with flowers because legends say Mount Sinai burst into bloom. And of course, we celebrate with yummy dairy treats like cheesecake - because learning sweet things should taste sweet too!
Get ready for Shavuot by completing these 5 challenges. Challenges include number locks, word locks and even a color lock. Once you complete a challenge, you'll get letters too. Put those in order to spell the final challenge word. To solve each challenge, look closely at each one - you'll find clues in the picture to help you solve it! Then... it's time to celebrate Shavuot - study all night, tell Torah stories, eat some ice cream, blintzes or lots of cheese. Have fun and good luck!!
Note: * For any word lock - use upper-case letters * For the color lock - use upper-case and the first letter of each color.
