shady and her cape
To make Shady, we used recyclable materials such as cardboard boxes, paper fabric, and old thread. The children drew the body parts on the cardboard, painted them, and assembled the pieces. To create the cape, they experimented with lenses, trying to find opaque materials that would serve their purpose. In the end, they combined black felt with red paper fabric to achieve the desired result. Finally, they decorated the cape with the initial letter of her name.

Collaborative ebook about the wind
Beginning of the e-book:
Once upon a time, a smooth white sheet of paper rested peacefully on a classroom table. Suddenly, a strong wind blew through the window, snatching the sheet and taking it on an unforgettable adventure across Europe.
The sheet of paper flew high, crossing mountains, rivers and cities. Every time it approached a school, the wind seemed to lose its strength, as if the sheet of paper was being asked to rest.
And so it fell, into the small, curious hands of children. In each school the sheet was received with enthusiasm and the children read the words written on it: “I arrived here with the help of the wind..."

Exploring the aquatic environment and experimenting with stones in sea lake Navmaxia
EXPLORING
Together with the students, we explored the aquatic environment of Salted lake, which is located next to our kindergarten. We observed the nature around the lake, discussed the animals and plants that may live there, and talked about the importance of water in our lives.
Next, we conducted an experiment to determine which stone ejects the most water when it falls into the lake. The children made hypotheses about the outcome of the experiment and recorded them. Then, we dropped three different sized stones—one large, one medium, and one small—and observed how much water each one ejected.
Through the process, the students had the opportunity to verify or reject their initial hypotheses, developing their critical thinking and becoming familiar with basic principles of experimentation and observation.
We Give Life with Water and love
SAVE THE FLOWERS
I forgot some flowers in the car and they wilted from the heat. The children, with sensitivity and imagination, suggested that we put them in water and leave them in the sun. The next day, the flowers had come back to life! They were excited to see that they had managed to save them and felt proud of their care.
Through this experiential experience, the children learned the value of water as a source of life and the responsibility we have towards nature. They cultivated their ecological awareness and experienced the joy of giving and caring.
ideological map and worsheets
Initially, we created an ideological map with the aim of detecting the students' pre-existing knowledge about water. Then, we watched educational videos about the importance of water in our lives and read a relevant children's book. Later, the students enriched the initial map with their new knowledge, which they also recorded on a worksheet.
waterproof or not?
We experimented with various materials so that the children could discover waterproof and non-waterproof materials to make the hero's cape.
Float or sink?
We conducted experiments with various materials, giving the children the opportunity to explore what properties make an object float or sink. Through experimentation and observation, they developed hypotheses and came to conclusions in an experiential way.
Water saving poster
We discussed with the children the importance of saving water and watched visual material on its correct and incorrect use. The children and their parents discovered ways in which we waste water in everyday life, such as broken pipes, a running toilet or bathing in a full bathtub. At the same time, they suggested solutions for saving, such as filling the washing machine before starting it, using rainwater for watering, repairing damages immediately and turning off the tap when brushing our teeth. They creatively captured all these ideas through drawings.
“Dinosaurs in Ice: An Experiment with Water and Sun”
We conducted an experiment by placing two dinosaur figures in containers of different sizes, which we filled with water and put in the freezer. The children made assumptions about what would happen and verified that the water turns into ice. Then, we investigated how we could “free” the dinosaurs and decided to leave the containers in the sun. By observing at regular intervals, we found that the smaller volume of ice melts faster, while at the same time we watched the gradual revelation of the dinosaurs.
absorbent or not
We conducted experiments with various materials to discover which ones are absorbent and which ones are not. The children experimented, made hypotheses, observed the results and came to conclusions about the properties of the materials.
“Making Paper Pulp with My Hands”
The children tore newspapers into small pieces and soaked them in water for a day. Then, we mashed the paper with our hands, squeezed it out and added glue. With the mixture, we created balls of paper pulp, discovering the paper recycling process through experience.
“Meeting the Sea Urchin: From Paper Pulp to the Sea”
We used a paper pulp ball to create a sea urchin. We watched educational videos on the computer, studied its environment and lifestyle. Then, the children captured the sea urchin in its natural environment through collage creations and projects, combining knowledge and artistic expression.
“I Play and Melt the Ice!”
We created ice cubes and played hockey on the table, observing how they melt as they move. Through the game, the children discovered that the heat of the hands and friction contribute to melting the ice, combining fun with simple scientific observation.
“Painting with Ice Cubes!”
OUTDOOR CLASSROOM DAY
We created colorful ice cubes with water and paint, and used them to paint in the school yard. The children experimented with the texture and feel of ice, exploring alternative ways of expression and creation.
“I Take Care of Our Beach”
OUTDOOR CLASSROOM DAY
We visited the beach next to the school and cleaned it of trash. The children actively participated in the activity, discussing environmental protection and the importance of personal responsibility in caring for nature.
