- In 2024 Comenius University course received the award: Public Policy taught by Daniel Klimovský & Martina Benzoni Baláž
2025 Award
- Each ENLIGHT university can nominate one course for the award
- Courses from UNIBA are sought until 15 June
- It can be a course taught by a single teacher or a team
- From all levels - BA/MA, PhD. and all disciplines
- A committee will review all applications and select the course to represent the university
- Nominated teachers are expected to review their application and submit the final version by 30 June

Criteria
A. Relevance to ENLIGHT educational principles
1. Transdisciplinarity: Courses involve collaboration with teachers of different subjects. Students gather & apply knowledge and perspectives from different disciplines & expertise in order to investigate a defined challenge2. Collaboration with external stakeholders: Collaboration with external stakeholders to tackle current challenges3. Research oriented teaching: Teaching students to raise scientific questions, formulating problems & finding solutions to these questions drawing upon a wide range or research skills

4. Intercultural and international learning: Interaction with students from various countries with different cultural backgrounds & academic knowledge 5. Versatility: Scientific knowledge is united with transversal skills such as intercultural awareness, inclusive leadership, & multilingualism 6. Challenge-based education: Students work on real-life challenges provided by academics, external stakeholders or students. The aim is to develop, implement & test solutions in authentic, real-world contexts

To what extent can the course/programme, or parts thereof, be replicated by another teaching team within the ENLIGHT-network?

B) Portfolio (2–4 pages) Describe the course in detail Provide evidence how the course meets the award criteria such as - assessment data, - peer feedback, - summary of student feedback, - web address and screenshots, - sample course pages, - video These can be presented as:
- examples given within the description OR
- reference/hyperlink to resources: documentation demonstrating course development, implementation, outcomes, etc.
APPLICATION
A) a cover sheet (1 page) that includes: - course title - course summary (200 words) - profile of all educators involved - clear indication of the course leader or contact person + their contact details
How to write your aplication
Include both statements from your students and quantitative data presenting overall feedback
Include photos or short video illustrating how the course meets the criteria
Compile your application by listing each criterion one by one & how you think your application meets it
