With all required data captured, Sprkz initiates the creation of one or more electronic prescriptions via our partner, Photon Health. Photon creates an eRx based on the specific patient, prescriber, and drug that the provider has specified on the document with just a few clicks. Sprkz can be configured to send the prescription created by the provider immediately, or can be configured in a "store and forward" mode for workflows requiring prior authorization, benefits verification, or other enrollment processing prior to release of the prescription to the destination pharmacy.
