Warm-Up Song (5 mins) “Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream?” (Super Simple Songs) YouTube link 2. 🧠 Vocabulary Memory Game: Food Tray (15 mins) Show a tray with 6–8 food items for 30 seconds. Cover the tray. Students recall: “I see a banana!” “It is yellow!” 3. 🎯 Movement Game: Run to the Food! (15 mins) Place food flashcards or real food around the room. Call out: “It is red. It is an apple!” Kids run and touch the correct item. 4. 🎓 Mini Speaking Practice (20 mins) Use puppets or pictures. Kids take turns: “This is a banana.” “It is yellow.” / “This is milk. It is white.”

Ask: “What’s missing?” Use full sentences: “The tomato is missing!” 3. 🎯 Movement Game: Mime & Guess - Present Progressive (15 mins) Student mimes an action: eating, washing, cutting veggies Others guess: “She is eating corn!” / “He is washing potatoes!” 4. 🎓 Practice Sentences with Mini Whiteboards (20 mins) Teacher shows picture of a kid doing something with food. Students write: “He is eating carrots.” “She is peeling a potato.”

🥪 CLASS 3: Review of Food + Present Progressive + To Be 🎓 Focus: Combine both tenses and vocab Vocabulary: Mixed food (fruits, veggies, snacks) 1. Warm-Up Song (5 mins) “I’m Hungry!” by The Singing Walrus YouTube link 2. 🧠 Memory Game: Food Bingo (15 mins) Students each get bingo boards with food. Teacher calls out: “This is a tomato.” / “It is red.” Or: “He is eating grapes.” 3. 🎯 Movement Game: Present Progressive Relay (15 mins) Two teams. Flashcard in the middle (e.g., a kid eating). First kid runs, grabs it, says: “He is eating soup!” → scores a point. 4. 🎓 Pair Speaking (20 mins) In pairs, kids draw a character doing something with food. Present to class: “She is cooking rice.” “It is hot!”
