  • You pay a smaller premium than the Traditional Plan, but pay more upfront on healthcare costs with a high deductible.
  • You get money in an HSA for health-related expenses to offset your higher deductible.
  • Your Out-of-Pocket Maximum includes what you've paid in Deductible.
  • The STAR HSA plan has extra preventive services paid at 100% compared to the other plans. There are also several Preventive Medications covered before the deductible. See page 19 of the

  • You pay the highest premium of all the plans, and do not receive HSA contributions.
  • It has a lower deductible and gives you predictable costs through fixed co-pays.
  • Each family member has their own deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
  • The deductible and out-of-pocket maximum accrue separately.
  • You have the option to add a FLEX$ Spending Account (FSA) and/or a Dependent Care Flex.

Visit their website to learn how to accelerate your health savings with a HealthEquity account.
