In March 2024, Ying Ying and Le Le naturally mated at Ocean Park, resulting in Hong Kong's first panda twins born on August 15. Nicknamed "Jia Jie" (Elder Sister) and "Sai Lo" (Little Brother), the cubs are now featured on Ocean Park's dedicated social media platform showcasing their daily growth.

In 2007, to mark the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return, the central government gifted the second pair of pandas, "Le Le" (symbolizing prosperity) and "Ying Ying" (representing abundance). Housed at Ocean Park’s Giant Panda Habitat, both remain healthy to this day.
KEKE & ANAN
In 2024, to celebrate the PRC's 75th anniversary, the central government gifted two more pandas to Hong Kong. They now reside at Ocean Park's Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures Pavilion, joining the city's beloved panda family.
Anan & JIAJIA
In 1999, to celebrate Hong Kong's return and "One Country, Two Systems," the central government gifted giant pandas "Jia Jia" and "An An," symbolizing peace and prosperity. An An died in 2022, while Jia Jia, one of the longest-lived captive pandas, passed away in 2016.
