Low Tension (LT) enclosure

Using non-explosive nitrogen gas to suppress arc explosions these transformers significantly reduce the chance of fire and explosions underground. The tank is hermetically sealed and positively pressurised to prevent moisture ingress, giving the unit a much longer operational life.
3.3kV power distribution from the substation may include up to 10 outlets in either IP66 or flameproof options provided from the Low Tension (LT) Enclosure.
