Lectures
Although lectures are beneficial, they should be done in moderation. Here are some flaws:
1. Students can lose attention easily 2. Students can learn the same material from prerecorded lectures and therefore don't need to rely on in-person lectures
How to remedy these flaws?:
1. Combine each lecture with an interactive activity ex. study a case in groups for psychology2. Transform some lectures into group discussions with mandatory participation points.

Worksheets
Worksheets can be effective tools for providing practice in classrooms. But they too also come with flaws:
1. Students can easily cheat 2. Completing worksheets independently can create a "box" for students, limiting their perspectives on problem solving
How to remedy these flaws?:
1. Prioritize a mix of completing worksheets independently + collaboratively 2. Ensure each worksheet has a purpose and isn't just "busywork"

How to remedy these flaws?:
1. Try using textbooks while also referencing more recent information about a topic online (use reliable sources!) 2. Better understand material from a textbook by utilizing active study methods like the Feynman Technique
