Title funds can be used to support AVID program costs if they align with the intent of the specific Title funding source, such as improving academic achievement (Title I), professional development (Title II), or college and career readiness (Title IV). Schools must ensure expenditures meet federal guidelines and directly benefit eligible students. • Title I: Improve academic achievement by supporting targeted interventions and resources. • Title II: Enhance educator effectiveness by providing opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth. • Title III: Support English language learners and help them to attain English proficiency and achieve academic success. • Title IV: Enhance students’ academic experiences by providing access to a broad range of educational opportunities, promoting a positive and safe school climate, and integrating technology to improve teaching and learning.
