GRAMOFONO
The gramophone was created by Emile Berliner. This device used flat discs instead of cylinders, allowing for more efficient production and playback. Gramophone records were generally made of shellac and featured spiral grooves that were read with a stylus.
GRAMOPHONE
The gramophone is the basis of the contemporary record player. It played grooves on flat discs instead of a cylinder. It was then that records became necessary. The first record player was released to the public in 1925 and was very popular until the rise of radio
RECORD PLAYER
Record Player became popular as early as the 1960s and 1970s when Dual launched the first Record PLayer with stereo playback. This was the golden age of Record Player where Electrohome launched its famous Apollo turntable, a space-age model, along with its classic wooden stereo consoles.
PHONOGRAPH
The first version of the record player was created by Thomas Edison. He created the phonograph in France back in 1877. However, this device could not reproduce sound. Instead, it recorded airborne noise on paper for visual study used primarily in laboratories.
