The novel follows the life of White Fang, a wolfdog (a cross between a wolf and a dog), from his birth in the wild to his gradual domestication. Through White Fang's eyes, London explores themes such as the brutality and kindness of human beings, the struggle between wild instincts and domestication, and the capacity for transformation and adaptability in the face of adversity. The novel not only tells the story of an animal but also reflects on the human condition and our relationship with the natural world.

The Sapporo Snow Festival is one of Japan's largest winter events. The festival is held annually in Sapporo, Japan, for seven days in February. It is about a small town called Whoville, where its inhabitants who loved Christmas. Except one who lived north of the Whoville hated Christmas and everything that had to do with it. This is how the Grinch with his dog Max devised a plan to dress up as Santa Claus and steal Christmas in Whoville so that no one can enjoy it and he can make fun. It is then that on a good night he visits house by house stealing everything that has to do with Christmas, and in one of the houses he is surprised by a girl named Lucy, whom he cheats with his Santa costume and sends to sleep again. The Grinch returns to his cave along with Max and all the Christmas presents to await the cry of those who in the morning to discover that they no longer have any gifts. But not hearing cries, but listening to carols and laughter, the Grinch understands the true meaning of Christmas.
