Our school
Maracena Secondary School is a secondary school offering teaching at secondary and Sixth-Form level. Our school opened in 1998 and in the academic year 2010-2011, became an English-Spanish bilingual school. Amongst other things, the school has: - Dedicated teaching staff - A great working environment between directors and teachers - Cordiality between teachers, with each teacher bringing a unique personality to the team - A large series of projects - A wide range of optional activities for all levels Moreover, the school participates in various linguistic immersion projects and exchanges in different countries. We also carry out numerous extra-curricular activities as enrichment.

NUESTROS AUXILIARES DE CONVERSACIÓN
ROBIN Working at IES Manuel de Falla is a really rewarding experience. You get the chance to assist in a variety of different subjects, from PE to biology and with different age groups, which gives you the opportunity to adapt content for different English levels. The teachers are very friendly and are always ready to give you ideas if you’re stuck on any lesson plans. They’re also really supportive and welcoming which really helps you settle in at the start!

Hola! Soy Joe, tengo 21 años y vengo de Cambridge, en Inglaterra. Trabajar en IES Manuel de Falla es un placer, y me ha enseñado tantas cosas que no anticipé. En el instituto, trabajarás como auxiliar en cualquiera asignatura, sea Educación Física, Historia, Biología, etc. Esto me sorprendió al principio, pero pronto me acostumbré a la diversidad de asignaturas. Ahora, diría que es una ventaja puesto que te motiva enseñar en maneras tan diferentes. Asistir clases de Educación Física sobre todo… siempre hay diversión y emoción de una manera u otra!Me ha resultado fácil asimilar al ambiento de la escuela. Cada profesor con quien trabajo es amable, abierto, y de trato fácil. Como auxiliar, solo trabajas 14 horas a la semana, así que tienes el tiempo para preparar para cada clase. Sobre todo, me ha revelado la alegría que un profesor podría recibir de sus alumnos. Los del instituto me hacen reír cada día. No podría pedir más
