1) Which word in the paragraph WIFE-CARRYING CHAMPIONSHIP means ‘gathering together in one place’?

WIFE-CARRYING CHAMPIONSHIP Wife carrying is a traditional sport in Finland, with competitors from all over the world congregating in Sonkajarvi each year. The sport dates back to the 19th century, when it is thought a local villain called Ronkainen used to steal local women, put them on his shoulders and run away! The length you have to carry your wife is 253.3 m, over a track made of quicksand, grass and 1 m (3 ft)-deep water.
