Life in the city

Life in the city

Hey guys I was thinking about the parks in Monterrey, Which one do you prefer, the Fundidora Park or the Rio la Silla Park?

Isabel

Both are great in their own ways, but if I had to choice it would be the Rio la Silla Park, is better for nature lovers than Fundidora Park.

Marcos

I totally agree! Rio la Silla Park is better than Fundidora Park to enjoy nature, it's more peaceful and beautiful

Montserrat

I agree with you, but I also like the cultural vibe that there is in Fundidora Park, it is more urban and modern than Rio la Silla Park

Isabel

That's right, the Fundidora Park has more events and museums than others parks. In my opinion, there are more interesting than those that are there, but I'm not complaining

Montserrat

But don't forget that Fundidora Park is bigger than Rio la Silla Park, it has more areas to explore.

Isabel

That's true! Fundidora Park has more space to do different activities such as cycling or rollerblading, eating and having fun with your friends and family.

Marcos

What about the pets? I think that Fundidora Park is more pet-friendly than Rio la Silla Park. You can see a lot of people walking their dogs there.

Isabel

Yeah, it's a little more open for pets

Marcos

I don't care what you say, but I still think that Rio la Silla Park is more relaxing than Fundidora Park.

Montserrat

Well yes, but if you want to see more art and learn about our history, Fundidora Park is the best option.

Isabel

She has a point.

Marcos

Hi, guys! What a surprise to find you here, what were you talking about?

Melanie

It's none of your busin-

Montserrat

We were talking about which park we prefer: Fundidora Park or Rio la Silla Park

Marcos

Oh, well I'll tell you which one I prefer, in Fundidora Park they are less strict about food than in Rio la Silla Park.

Melanie

Fundidora Park is more extensive and surrounded by businesses, while Rio la Silla Park is more isolated.

Melanie

...

So, which one do you prefer?

Isabel

Neither of the two parks, I prefer to walk in the squares as they are more interesting. See ya later!

Melanie

How basic.

Montserrat

Well, now that we have visited both places, what do you think, which is the best the Old Quarter or the Valle Oriente?

Victoria

Well, in the old neighborhood they are more homey than in the eastern valley.

Román

You have a point, but I think that the atmosphere of the eastern valley is more refined than the old neighborhood.

William

Yeah, also the Valle Oriente is larger than the Old Town.

Victoria

I thought it was the other way, that the Old Quarter is bigger than the Valle Oriente.

Walter

I think it depends more on which part you see it from.

Román

Putting that aside, the old town is more historic than the Valle Oriente and has more historic architecture than this one.

William

Yep, I've also seen that The Old Quarter has more places with cultural offerings than in the Eastern Valley.

Walter

But the Eastern Valley is more modern than the old neighborhood, that includes the area's technological advancements that are more attractive to tourists.

Victoria

Like us?

Román

Exactly

Victoria

...

The Valle Oriente has more streets than the Old Town.

William

Buuuut, the Old Town is cheaper than in the Eastern Valley.

Román

In that I give it an extra point.

Victoria
