Lesson Summaries

Vocabulary Review

Create a summary of each lesson

Review each lesson and write your summary in your own words to highlight the most important concepts in that lesson. Try to stick to 2-4 main ideas

• You can write it out on paper or type it out in a Word document.
• You could also record your summaries using an audio recording app.

Use your summaries to review over a period of a few days to prepare for your quiz or test. You can read them out loud or use them to teach the lessons to someone else!

Create Vocabulary Flashcards

Using notecards or paper, create a set of flashcards to reinforce science vocabulary.

• Make sure to write definitions in your own words.
• Use drawings or diagrams to reinforce ideas.
• Give examples when appropriate.

Review your flashcards over a period of few days with your lesson summaries to prepare for your quiz or test. It helps to have someone else use your flashcards to quiz you!
