Storage of Big Data

Big Data involves huge amounts of information, so we need special ways to store and process it efficiently.

1. How is Big Data Stored?

Because Big Data is so large, it can’t be stored in regular databases. Here are some common storage methods: 1. Hadoop: An open-source system designed to store large data across many computers. It breaks data into smaller pieces and stores them across multiple machines, ensuring no data is lost. 2. Cloud Storage: Data is stored online on platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. It’s flexible, scalable, and allows easy access from anywhere. 3. NoSQL Databases: Unlike traditional databases, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) handles large volumes of unstructured data (like text, images, videos) efficiently.
