Use this knowledge to assist in how you support the visitor, not in diagnosing the visitor.
Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD) falls under Cluster B of the personality archaetypes currently known and studied. The symptoms listed highlight attention-seeking behavior and a need for consistent validation. However, it is important to acknowledge HPD (like many personality disorders) possesses it's own spectrum that would cause the symptoms listed to range in their potency and visibility within social settings.

Activity
Start by dropping the ball straight down. Follow up by dropping the ball at an angle from different directions, using the same force and height you did when you dropped the ball in a straight direction. What do you notice?
Reflection
The ball had a more exaggerated and extreme reaction when dropped at an angle that was not centered. This can be applied to people with Histrionic Personality Disorder. They desire to be the center of attention, and when they are not they have strong and sometimes extreme reactions as a result.
Possess a scattered internal process for thoughts and emotions. As a result, people with a disjointed architecture, act out of necessity and impulses to try to make sense of their thoughts. However, this only leads to further incohesion.
Intrapsychic Architecture
Have a superficial recollection of memories and experiences. This results in having limited drive, due to having a pleasure fueled view of life.
Intrapsychic Content
Consistently alters their outward social persona into one that is socially attractive. This, therefore, distracts them from unpleasurable thoughts or feelings.
