Both sets of the 4C's are extremely important. However, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. I personally feel like these are very important for the younger grade children. As a second grade teacher I am still trying to teach my kiddos how to use critical thinking, how to communicate with both myself and peers, how to collaborate with their peers with group activities and assignments, and also teaching them how to be creative. Since they are so young when it comes to creativity the only thing they think about is coloring but there are a bunch of ways to be creative. With the 4c's I selected I feel like these are important to me because they will help my students become successful throughout the school year and to me that is what those four words are meant to do. Critical thinking is a necessary skill in order for every student to be successful in both the real world and being at school. Communication is what gets us through the school day and even the year so giving them more tips and help for communicating will help both the student and the teacher. Many younger students becomes upset when they aren't able to fully communicate what exactly they are trying to get across. Collaboration is a huge thing that is harder for the younger kiddos, especially if they aren't use to having to share at home. Collaboration is all about sharing, and working with others. Creativity is also extremely important, many children don't know how to be creative or show creativity because they haven't been fully been introduced to showing their creativity.

Why I CHOSE COMMUNICATION, CRITICAL THINKING,COLLABORATION, CREATIVITY.
