Benidorm is a coastal resort on Spain's east coast, part of the famous Costa Blanca in the Valencia region. It was a small fishing village and now is a popular Mediterranean holiday destination renowned for its nightlife. Its two wide sandy beaches, Levante Beach and Poniente Beach, are lined with palm-fringed promenades, bars, and rows of skyscrapers.
What is Benidorm famous for? It's one of the most important and well-known tourist destinations in Spain and the entire Mediterranean thanks to its beaches and nightlife, reaching a population of 400.000 in the summer. Benidorm is the city with the third most hotel beds in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona.
