Alice walked through the forest and saw a big mushroom. On top of the mushroom, a sleepy blue caterpillar sat and smoded a hookah. The caterpillar was calm, looked at Alice and ansked, "who are you?" Alice felt consufed because she changed so much in Wonderland. She tried to explain, but the caterpillar did not understand and was not very friendly. He asked more questions, and Alice became angry and frustrated. She t old him about her size problems - sometimes she was too big, sometimes too small. The caterpillar listened and then gave her some advice. He told her that one side of the mushroom would make her grow taller, and the other side would make her smaller. Then, he went away and left Alice alone. She felt nervous but also curious about all. Alice broke a piece from each side of the mushroom. First, she ate a little from one piece, but her neck grew very long! she looked like a giraffe. Alice tried the other piece of the mushroom and finally returned to her normal size. Alice felt excited because now she could control her height. She diecided to keep the mushroom pieces with her.
The blue Caterpillar
There are two teams in the group. Each team chooses a character, either the Caterpillar or Alice. Each team places their counter on the Start space and casts the die. The team who gets t he highest number starts the game. The player who starts throws the dice again and answers the question that is on the box. If he answers correctly, his team can advance along the board according to the number on the dice. If the answer is incorrect, the team remains on the space without moving forwards. When the team falls on a Special box, they must do something according to the instruction they read. The questions are related to the story and include vocabulary, grammar and connectors learnt by students in 1 ESO. The team who first reaches Finish is the winner and gets the prize: If the winner is the Caterpillar team, they get the Pipe, but if the winner is Alice team they get the mushroom.
