Introduction
-Posture is very important for our health. If we sit, stand or walk in a bad way, we can have back pain, tired muscles and even serious problems in the future. Good posture helps us feel better, move easier and stay strong. In this document, I will talk about 10 important postural habits that we should follow every day.
Keep Your Back Straight
Always try to keep your back straight when you sit, stand, or walk. Avoid bending too much or slouching.
SIT CORRECTLY ON A CHAIR
When you sit, your feet should be flat on the floor, your knees should be at a 90-degree angle, and your back should touch the chair.
Stand Up Properly
Stand with your weight on both feet, not just one. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your head up.
Lift Heavy Things Safely
If you need to lift something, bend your knees instead of your back. Hold the object close to your body.
Take Breaks from Sitting
If you sit for a long time, stand up every 30-60 minutes to stretch and move around.
Keep Screens at Eye Level
If you use a computer or phone, make sure the screen is at eye level so you don’t look down too much.
Use a Good Mattress and Pillow
Sleep on a mattress and pillow that support your back and neck.
Do Exercises for Good Posture
Try exercises that make your back and stomach muscles stronger. This helps you keep a good posture.
Avoid Slouching
Try not to curve your shoulders forward when you sit or walk. Sit and stand tall.
Wear Comfortable Shoes
Shoes with good support help keep your body in the right position and protect your spine.
