CEA MAR MENOR
We are a publicly owned centre dependent on the Ministry of Cultural Education and Universities of the Murcia Region. Its scope of action is regional. The administration of the school is located in Torre Pacheco extending the educational offer of the school to the towns of San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier , Los Alcázares and Roldán.
WHO ARE WE?
PROFILE OF OUR STUDENTS.- Students with family responsibilities. - With low self-esteem. -People who failed in their previous studies. - Students with difficult lives.
We have the following educational offer: - Basic vocational training in administrative services.and electricity. - Spanish as a foreign language. - Computer workshops. - Preparation for level A2 of English. - Secondary Education for adults both presence -based modality and distance learning. - Preparation for university entrance exams for people over 25 and 45 years old and entrance exams to higher education cycles. - We also have a mentor classroom from which countless authorised courses from the Ministry of Education are offered.
About us
We meet the demand of hundreds of students in the Mar Menor region who we train both in basic subjects and in obtaining intermediate degrees.

What are our goals?
2019-2021. Learn new practices and exchange experiences.
If as teachers we learn the keys to our happiness we can accompany our students to know and apply them in their own lives. That is what education in Human Strengths is all about.
Before the COVID 19 we did some training on Human Strengths. If we ask anybody Do you want to be happy? Everybody would say of course. Then we usually do many things that pursue that happiness, but that take us in the opposite direction. As Albert Ellis has already said the ultimate motivation of all behaviour is an attempt to be happy although it may be totally wrong.

"What factors make us learn better? If we knew them, would that take us to change our teaching practises?We received a course called " Educating to be, eight keys to well-being, motivation and the sense of education."

- Attention is essential in learning and memory.- The brain is constantly changing.
Neuroeducational keys to learn better. Training 2021.
Some important ideas:We can apply the following principles of neuroeducation in the classroom: - Each brain is unique, and this means that education is inclusive. - Each person has different pontentialities. - We learn starting from different previous experiences, so everyone learns mixing in a unique way what they already know with the new knowledge they acquire .
Project based learning is a methodology that is more than 100 years old, so it cannot be considered an educational innovation, but it is for teachers who have heard of it , but do not apply it in their teaching practises.
The 21st century asks us for a more competent and less academic education, more useful for life. Task based learning is a way to contextualise our students' learning and we think this methodology will help them achieve their goals.

our school, continues betting on training in Europe to learn new methodologies and to continue upgrading our teaching practises.
