MY TOP 15:
A lovely powerful ballad striking right to the heart. France this year sent a very powerful entry and is predicted to place in the top 5. The real question is: Is this song enough to win? We'll discover it In Basel
Spain has certainly sent diva this year to represent their country. The song is catchy and gives you wanna dance all day
I hope Malta finally qualifies to the Grand Final! This year their song feels very modern and at the same time iconic and memorable.Nb: the song used to be called 'Kant' ('singing' in Maltese') but the word was banned from the EBU as the chorus ''Serving KANT'' was a bit too evocative to the expression 'Serving C*nt' often used by the youth on social Media Platforms.
Finally a German song in Eurovision for Germany itself. And the song actually represents the music industry of Germany which is great and authentic, I hope they won't finish at the end of the scoreboard...
A very very solid entry for Austria this year which has chosen to be represented by an opera singer at the Vienna Opera House. The song mixes pop emotion and electronics at the same time, it is so sure they will finish in the top five.
A very fresh entry for Norway this year which has chosen a very very young representative who's only 19 years old. It actually do sounds modern and I'm sure it will be appreciated by the younger audience on the Eurovision stage in May.
I would never expect me to say that one day but I actually do like thesong from Sweden. It is in swedish and is quite fun to watch and to enjoy and it's representative of the swedish culture. Fun fact is that KAJ is actually a Swedish-speaking humorist music group from Finland who is advocating to take a Sauna to chill out. Yes Swedish is also an official language in Finland.
I love the fact that this song mixes Rocky and catchy beats at the same time. At the beginning I was wondering what was the meaning of the song now that I know it I prefer erasing this memory from my mind. Anyways very very solid entry this year with a very charismatic singer. WARNINGS : the lights may actually make you epileptic
I was not expecting this Stromae vibe what was the Netherlands this year that I have to admit that I quite like this song. I believe it note expect French party in the song until I learned the singers background who was born in Congo.
A very deep and meaningful song for grief this year I really love it and the music video is very good as well. Actually, the Turkish followed claims that this song alludes to the Pontian Greek Genocide but the EBU did not acknowledge those claims and Greece is still allowed to participate this year.
This year's hosts and last year winner Switzerland brought quite a different song this year. And it is a very waste choice for them as they are already qualified for the final. The song is very very beautiful and somehow makes you feel nostalgic. Fun fact is that the singer Zoe is actually from basil and performs her song in French too !!
Czechia's song is particular in some way but I like it especially the dancing part. At first I did not understand the real meaning of the music video but I learned that the young man who is the singer in the video is actually trying to go to the past to meet his father who abandoned him at a very young age. I'm really waiting to see his staging in Basel.
Love the singers voice and song it is an absolute BOP. Nevertheless, I hope Sisal changes her outfit and performance as the dancers and the dress she had was maybe not the best, I wish her good luck in Basel
Another French song this year and this one actually plays tribute to France Gall and her song 'Poupée de cire Poupée de son' which made Luxemburg win in 1965. Laura Thorn describes the emancipation of that poupée who actually learned from her mistakes and is no longer a toy.
This entry is the one I find the most funny, we got to admit it is a bit quirky but I like the fact that Iceland sings in Icelandic. It made me discover the language through their music. I hope they will qualify !
