The media is everywhere:Tv, radio, internet, newspapers, social media. They give us a lot of usual information,however, they influence our opinions, feelings and actions.

Culture and public decisions
How do they affect us
There are many ways we can be manipulated by the media:
- Information: They control what we know
- Emotions: Make us feel fear, joy, anger
- Shopping: Influence what we buy
- Pollitics: Influence votes and public opinions

- Inform and educate people
- Connect people around the world
- Give voice to different groups
- Raise awareness about global problems
Negative effects
- Fake news and misinformation
