Il Nilo è il secondo fiume più lungo al mondo dopo il Rio delle Amazzoni e misura 6600 km. Nasce nel cuore dell’Africa e scorre da sud a nord per sfociare nel Mar Mediterraneo. Le sue esondazioni hanno reso i terreni circostanti fertili ed adatti all’agricoltura.
