Actions The present continuous tense is formed with the verb ¨be¨ + an- ing form of a verb

Rule Some verbs have different spelling when + ing is added .

You can use the present continuous tense with some time phrases. At the moment, I am studying Now, I am watching tv.

Examples:The girl is eating. Are they talking on the phone. Tony isn´t mopping the floor. We are having lunch.

Talking time

Sarah and James are in the city. They call Sarah´s dad to ask if he wants to meet them.

Hi! Dad James and I are visiting the city. We are outside your workplace. Do you want to have lunch with us?

Great! We are waiting by the trees outside.. Come meet us when you are finished working.

I´m working at the moment, but I will finish soon. I´m writing a report.. Can I meet you in ten minutes.
