Request training

  1. Search for training.
  2. Click on the title to go to the "Training Details" page, where you can see more details, ratings and evaluations of the training.
  3. To request registration, click on "Request". Once you have received your manager's approval (see section: Does my training require my manager's approval? ), view the course from your Transcript.
  4. For online training that does not require validation by the manager, click on "Launch".

Request training

The case of face-to-face/virtual classroom training

  1. Face-to-face/virtual classroom training is defined in Orange Learning as "Events" and can take place several times, in several locations, thus in several "Sessions".
  2. To participate in such a training, on the "Training Details" page scroll down to the "Upcoming Sessions" tab.
  3. Choose the session that best suits you in terms of location, date and time by clicking on “View Details”.
  4. Click on “Request” and, after you have requested the training and received the manager's approval (if required), go to your Transcript and your training status will be "Registered".

Does my training require my manager's approval?

  1. If the training requires validation, its status in your Transcript will be "Pending Approval".
  2. The status “Approved" shows that the request has been validated, but it is necessary to register using the "Register" button.
  3. Once registered for a session, but can no longer attend, please cancel your registration in Orange Learning (Withdraw) to allow others to attend.

Contact the training manager

  1. Most training courses display the training contact (name and phone number) in the "Details" tab of the training course
  2. Other useful information can be found in the "Details" tab such as objectives, level, subjects, etc.

The "Request" button is missing. What should I do?

There are 3 causes for this behavior:

  1. You already have an instance of the event in your Transcript and this event is set to not allow participation in multiple sessions.
  2. There is a registration deadline for the sessions, so if the registration date has passed, you cannot register yourself. In this case, contact the training manager who is allowed to register you despite the delay.
  3. If you are also a manager, if the training is set up to not allow managers to enroll, you will only be able to "assign" this training to your team.

The event has no active sessions. How can I find out about new sessions?

  1. You can subscribe to an interest list for an event. Click on Notify me in the drop-down list of options.
  2. Specify in the comments which location you are interested in
  3. Click on Submit.
When new sessions are scheduled for this event, you will be notified by email.

Modify my interests

  1. Interests can be modified/deleted in the "My interests and waitlists" page accessible in the "My learning" tab, from the burger menu.

Why don't I see a certain training course in research, but other people do?

  1. Training courses can have a broad availability, for the whole group, or an availability restricted to a single division, position, or group (see a specific population). If you do not find it in the search, then you are not in the availability group for that training.

I can see the event but not the sessions, why?

  1. If you do not see the sessions, they are not available to you (even if the event is available/visible). Perhaps these sessions are organized in another location or for other categories of employees.
  2. If you have information that sessions are open at an event, but you do not see it, please contact the training contact and see together if this training is recommended to you or not.
