Located in the Giza Necropolis, the Pyramids of Giza are a complex of enormous tombs built over 4,500 years ago by the ancient Egyptians. These funerary monuments were built for the pharaohs Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure. Today, they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
