Citizen of the oceanQu'est-ce que c'est ?

Une coalition mondiale de 275 jeunes de 18 à 30 ans engagés pour l’Océan. Activistes, scientifiques, artistes, éducateurs, entrepreneurs, sportifs, ils ont recrutés sur la base de leur envie et motivation à initier des changements qui ont du sens.

Le sommet des jeunes à Nausicaá

Le Sommet des Citoyens de l'Océan s'est déroulé du 25 au 28 mars 2025 à Nausicaá. Une cinquantaine de jeunes ont été sélectionnés. Au programme : participation à des ateliers, écriture d’un plaidoyer par personne, rédaction d’un manifeste et premières prises de contact avec des acteurs politiques. En collaboration avec des experts en sciences de la mer et en plaidoyer, ils vont ils vont pouvoir approfondir leur travail ces 5 défis :

C'est un réseau diversifié de jeunes acteurs du changement océanique de toute l'Europe, qui se réunissent pour faire de l'océan une préoccupation de tous les citoyens européens par le biais d'actions de sensibilisation à l'océan et de plaidoyer dans les forums nationaux et internationaux. Soutenu par l'Union européenne, le forum Youth4Ocean a mis en place le programme Young Ocean Advocate qui offre aux jeunes porteurs de projets une visibilité, une formation, des ressources et la possibilité d'entrer en contact avec des experts marins et maritimes qui les soutiennent dans le développement et l'extension de leurs projets.
