Biografia

Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935) foi um poeta português nascido em Lisboa, passou a maior parte da sua infancia na Africa do Sul com a sua mãe, é um dos maiores escritores da literatura mundial. Criou vários heterônimos, como Álvaro de Campos, Ricardo Reis e Alberto Caeiro, cada um com estilo próprio. Sua obra, marcada por reflexões filosóficas e modernismo, só ganhou grande reconhecimento após sua morte.

Criou mais de 100 heterônimos, embora apenas alguns sejam amplamente conhecidos.

Escrevia tanto em português quanto em inglês, influenciado por sua infância na África do Sul.

Nunca publicou um livro completo em vida, apenas pequenos textos e poemas em revistas.

Sua última frase antes de morrer foi escrita em inglês: "I know not what tomorrow will bring" (Não sei o que o amanhã trará).
