Dear colleagues, I am offering you the sixth activity. This activity helps improve students' critical and creative thinking. The activity consists of two tasks. You can choose only one task and have students create by hand, using recycled materials: 1) City of the Future (based on their place of residence) or 2) handmade puppets for a theatrical performance. Activity completion period: March 17 - March 30.

Generating Ideas Discuss with students the problems of modern cities (pollution, traffic jams, energy consumption, etc.) Consider how these problems can be solved Compile a list of ideas. 2. Planning Draw a basic map for your city Decide what main zones you will have (residential, recreational, transportation, energy sources) 3. Group Division Divide students into groups of 4-5 people Assign each group a specific part/sector of the city to work on 4. Modeling Groups build their part of the city from recycled materials Encourage innovative ideas and the use of "green" technologies Give students with special needs tasks appropriate to their abilities 5. Exhibition and Presentation Each group presents their part and explains innovative ideas Combine all parts into one large city model Students can conduct a "tour" of their city for other classes Inclusive Elements: Emphasize that the city should be inclusive and accessible to everyone Additional Details: Students can create short stories or scenarios about living in their city Create posters or brochures that advertise your "City of the Future" Conduct a "City Council" simulation where students discuss the merits of different ideas This activity promotes: • Spatial thinking and planning • Problem-solving skills • Environmental awareness • Collaboration and teamwork • Presentation skills • Fostering interest in science and technology

Eco-Puppet Show Activity Description: Students will create a script, make eco-puppets from recycled materials, and perform a dramatization on various relevant topics such as environmental protection, proper waste management, gender equality, etc. Implementation Stages: 1. Generating Ideas Students use "brainstorming" to identify problems affecting the city, school community, class... 2. Planning They will develop a script (for the eco-puppet show) based on the identified problem, where it would be good to voice ways to solve this problem. They will create characters... 3. Group Division Students will be divided into groups of 4-5 people Each group will be tasked with making different characters and props from secondary items (mainly using cardboard) and then taking care of beautifying them. This can be done with paints as well as recycled fabric for sewing clothes for the puppets. 4. Presentation The classroom will be set up with a small stage and a puppet show will be held Inclusive Elements: Everyone from the class will be able to participate in the activity, including students with special educational needs.
