Select a video to watch if you are behind (or need clarification) on any of the following Unit 4 Informational Project (PowerPoint presentation) steps: Video #1 Choose a topic, download/save PPT template, bulleted facts/images on the PPT, & current event Video #2 Examples of PPT drafts and review of the rubric Link to grading rubric: Video #3 Literary analysis Link to "literary analysis worksheet" NOTE: In upcoming lessons we will review the Works Cited page, so for now, just make sure you have saved all of the websites you used! We will also discuss the speaking component of this project.
You may complete any of the following steps independently or with a partner/small group in a breakout room. * BONUS POINT opportunity: Using the "Novel Study: Nowhere Boy by Katherine Marsh" Classkick pages, fill-in as many blanks as you can from chapters 20-28 (see pages 12-15) IMPORTANT: In order to get 1 point per 5 answers correct, you need to "Raise Hand" in Classkick *Read a book of your choice Sora * Work on reading skills in i-Ready (Bonus Points for 30+ minutes per week!) *Explore the Pi Day Padlet *Work on overdue ELA lessons NOTE: i-Ready Summer Academy will be assigned to anyone who does not pass ELA or Math with at least a 60%!
2.) Download the Unit 4 Skills Test Study Guide 3.) Make sure you're all caught up with the Nowhere Boy reading. You should have read chapters 1-28. Click the arrow for audio recordings of the chapters.
